The last stage costs less than the first ones.
That single sentence is the whole pricing philosophy. If a provider's revenue only ever goes up, nobody inside it has a reason to want your child to need less. Ours is built to fall, and every rule on this page exists to make that real rather than rhetorical.
Two kinds of fee. That's it.
You are never billed per practitioner, per report, per phone call or per email. If someone on our side spends an hour arguing with your school, that is not an invoice line.
A fixed fee for the assessment
AED —
Quoted in writing before we start and unchanged by what the assessment concludes. It is sold on its own — the report is yours, and taking it to another provider is a normal outcome we plan for.
The person carrying it out is salaried and earns exactly the same whether they recommend twenty hours a week or nothing at all.
One monthly fee for the stage you're in
AED —
Covers the practitioners, the clinical supervision, the reporting, the reviews and your Family Lead's time. It changes when your stage changes, and you know the new figure before the stage begins.
Build is the most expensive stage. Transfer is lower. Step Back is lower again.
What your invoice should do across five stages.
Support rises then falls, and the fee follows it. A programme where the monthly figure only ever climbs is a programme that has stopped working.
Shape only — the figures are published here once the rate card is signed off.
Understand
The functional needs assessment. Bought on its own, at a fixed fee, with no commitment to anything after it.
Plan
The Independence Plan itself — goals, intensity, settings, timeline, review dates, and the other providers we think are a better fit.
Build
The most intensive stage. Clinical intervention, home support, parent coaching, supervision and weekly data.
Transfer
A supervised LSA in the classroom while the teaching team is trained to carry the strategies.
Step Back
Support reduced in planned steps as milestones are met, ending in discharge or a light maintenance arrangement.
Six things we won't do to you commercially.
Nobody is paid on recommended hours
Assessors are salaried. Any recommendation above a set intensity needs a second signature from someone with no commercial role, and they can send it back.
No lock-in
You can leave at the end of any month with no notice penalty, and your complete file is exported free to whoever you name.
No charge to retrieve your own record
No export fee and no exit fee. Charging a parent to get their child's history back would be indefensible.
No referral fees, either direction
We do not pay schools or clinicians for sending families, and we do not accept payment for sending families anywhere.
No surprise increases
A change of stage changes the fee, and you know the new figure before the stage starts. Nothing moves mid-stage.
Hours are not the answer to slow progress
Two consecutive flat reviews trigger a written re-plan, not an upsell. Sometimes the honest conclusion is that the goal was wrong.
What we will and won't promise.
We provide the documentation your insurer asks for — reports, session records, clinician details — and we will tell you honestly what tends to be covered in the UAE and what does not. Assessment and therapy are sometimes reimbursable. Classroom support usually is not.
What we will not do is promise reimbursement, because that decision is not ours and treating it as though it were would be a way of quietly moving risk onto you.
Where a school holds a budget for additional support, we will put the case in writing for you. Where a family genuinely cannot fund what a child needs, tell us on the call — we would rather have that conversation early than build a plan nobody can afford.
- What would this cost for a child like mine?
- What does the fee stop covering if we reduce hours?
- What is the cheapest useful thing we could do first?
- What would you do if this were your child and the budget was fixed?
All four are reasonable questions and none of them will get you a worse answer from us. The last one in particular is worth asking every provider you speak to.
Tell us what you've noticed.
Twenty minutes on the phone with someone who does this every day. No assessment, no cost, and no obligation to become a client at the end of it.
If we're not the right people, we'll tell you who is. That includes naming providers we don't own, and it costs you nothing either way.
