Most team pages are photographs and job titles. The thing that actually matters to you is the structure — which of these people decides what your child needs, who checks them, and whether any of them earn more for recommending more.
Every family works with these, by name.
Your Family Lead
The person you message. They chase the school, brief every new practitioner so you don't have to, keep the file current, and are answerable when something isn't working. They reply within one working day, and hand over to a named colleague when they're away.
The assessor
Carries out the functional needs assessment across home and school, and writes the Independence Plan. They are the person deciding what your child needs — which is exactly why the next two rows exist.
The clinical supervisor
Supervises every practitioner delivering the plan, including the learning support assistant in your child's classroom. They own whether the work is actually being done to standard, and they see the same session data you do.
The reviewer
Has no commercial role in the business at all. Any recommendation above a set intensity needs their second signature before it reaches you, and they can send it back. They check for over-recommendation and under-recommendation alike.
The people who diagnose your child don't work here.
That is the first of our four rules and the reason there is no diagnostic role above. Formal diagnosis stays with independent clinicians we neither own nor pay, and who receive nothing from us for sending a family our way.
It costs us. The most profitable thing a provider can do is diagnose a child and then sell the treatment for what it diagnosed. We have given that up, and we lose families to the wait for an external appointment.
