You are the one holding it together — the referrals, the reports, the re-explaining at
every new appointment. We take that on, and we plan for the day you stop needing us.
Support for your child exists. It just doesn't hold together.
Every provider owns a slot in a calendar. Nobody owns the result. So the work of joining
it up falls to the one person already carrying the most.
Today
Six relationships, six records, six versions of your child's history — and no line
between any of them except the one running through you.
Six calendars to keep in step
The whole history, re-told at every new appointment
Nobody answerable for whether any of it is working

The Independence Pathway
Support rises, then comes down. On purpose.
The bars are what we provide. The line is your child. Every stage has a written ending
agreed before it starts — including the last one.

Stage 01
Understand
A functional needs assessment across home and school: what your child can already do,
what gets in the way, what triggers what, and what the school can realistically deliver.
Diagnosis goes to an independent clinician.
Fixed fee, standalone
Home and school observation
2–3 weeks
Stage 02
Plan
The Independence Plan: goals in plain English, intensity, settings, projected timeline
and review dates. Everyone works from this one page — you, the school and every
practitioner who touches the plan.
Included with assessment
Written for parents
Reviewed termly
Stage 03
Build
Clinical intervention and home support, plus coaching for you. This is the most
intensive stage, deliberately — it is where skills are taught, and it is meant to be
the peak. Data is taken against the goals every session.
Monthly programme fee
Clinical supervision
Data every session
Stage 04
Transfer
A supervised learning support assistant in the classroom. Skills move out of the therapy
room and into school life, and the teaching team is trained to carry them. The work
aligns to the school's own IEP rather than running beside it.
Monthly programme fee
Supervised LSA
School team trained
Stage 05
Step Back
Support is reduced on purpose, in planned steps, as milestones are met. This stage costs
you less than the ones before it. That is the design, not a discount.
Reducing fee
Independence milestones
Discharge or maintenance
The five stages
Every stage has a defined ending. Including the last one.
Support that never ends is not support, it is a subscription. So each stage is written
with the condition that closes it, agreed before it starts.

01
Understand
A functional needs assessment across home and school. What your child can already do,
what gets in the way, what triggers what, and what the school can realistically
deliver. Diagnosis goes to an independent clinician.
This stage ends when
You, the school and we have a written plan all three of us agree with.
02
Plan
The Independence Plan: goals in plain English, intensity, settings, projected timeline
and review dates. Everyone works from this one page.
This stage ends when
Goals, intensity and review dates are signed off before any support starts.
03
Build
Clinical intervention and home support, plus coaching for you. The most intensive
stage, deliberately. Weekly data against the goals.
This stage ends when
The target skills are reliable in the setting where they were taught.
04
Transfer
A supervised LSA in the classroom, skills moved from the therapy room into school
life, and the teaching team trained to carry it. Aligned to the school's IEP.
This stage ends when
The school team can sustain the support with less of us in the room.
05
Step Back
Support reduced on purpose in planned steps as milestones are met. It costs less than
the stages before it — that is the design.
This stage ends when
Your child manages without us, or at a level your family can hold.
Everything about your child's support lives in one file: the plan, the goals, the
session data, the reports, the reviews and every decision with the reason it was made.
The file is yours, not ours. You can read all of it at any time, and you can export
the whole thing free — including on the day you decide to leave us. We will send it
to whoever you name, in a format the next provider can actually use.
We keep the record because being able to see the work is the only way you can hold us
to it.

How we're built
Four rules that cost us money, on purpose.
Most of what goes wrong in this sector is not bad practice. It is a business model that
quietly rewards more hours. These four rules remove that incentive, and each one has a
price we have agreed to pay.
Rule 01
We don't diagnose our own clients.
Formal diagnosis stays with independent clinicians we neither own nor pay. The people
who decide what your child needs are not the people who profit from the answer.
Rule 02
Nobody is paid on recommended hours.
Assessors are salaried. Any recommendation above a set intensity needs a second
signature from someone with no commercial role. Recommending more can never pay
anyone here more.
Rule 03
Every plan names other providers.
Including our competitors, where they are the better fit for your child. If the right
answer is a centre we don't run, the plan says so in writing, with the name.
Rule 04
We publish how often we say no.
Once a year we publish the share of assessed children who did not become clients. No
referral fee moves in either direction, to us or from us.
Four numbers, once a year, for everyone we assessed — not a selected sample. These are
the measures we want to be judged on.
—Not yet published
Support hours reduced within 12 months
Average change in weekly hours per child, first year to date.

Median days from first contact to plan
First message received to a signed Independence Plan.

Independence milestones met against projection
Milestones reached, compared with the date we projected at Plan.

Children assessed and referred elsewhere
Assessed children who did not become clients, and where they went.
These figures are blank on purpose. They fill in from our real first-year
data and are published in full when that year closes. We would rather show you an empty
box than a number we made up.
Three ways in
Start where you are.
For families
You've noticed something.
You don't need a diagnosis, a referral or a file of reports to talk to us. Tell us what
you've seen and we'll tell you what we'd do first.
You have a pupil the current provision cannot hold. We work to your IEP, not beside it,
and we train your team to carry the strategies once our hours come down.
Someone has to deliver it. Refer a family to us and you get a written implementation
report showing what was actually delivered against it, and what it changed.
